Curious fact: Sandwich

John Montagu (1718-1792) was the fourth (4️⃣th) Earl of Sandwich.

He loved ❤️ card games ♠️♣️♥️♦️ and did not 🚫 want to leave the gaming table to eat 😋. He asked ❓ for a roast beef 🍖to be placed between two 2️⃣ slices of bread 🍞 so he could eat with his hands 🤚🤚. The sandwich 🥪 was being invented!


Now Sandwich has two 2️⃣ meanings:
☝️ It's a city 🌁 in South ⬇️ England 🇬🇧.
✌️ It's the name of a really popular 📸 food around the world 🌍.
